Still Growing!

We are still here! We have been busy chasing Emma around, moving the dogs water bowl, trying to keep her off our phones and tablets, and trying to clean any messes behind her! She loves to be outside playing with rocks and swinging. Her chattering has picked up, she even picked up her play phone and put it to her phone and started jabbering away. She is saying Momma, Dada, Jerry, Harley, More, some sort of "down", "back", and "no" when yelling at the dogs. She's really good at shaking her head no, and is starting to say no with that.

Such attitude at school

Her very own Peppa shirt!

Loves Rosas just as much as her mom and dad

Decided to be goofy and...

backed herself into "a corner" (of course I had to take a pic!)

Loves to play in the rocks... and try to eat them

Just walking to get the mail

Our morning look

Our awesome shirt from Kara's mom!

She also LOVES to read! Emma likes to climb into her Texas Tech chair and read to herself, occasionally she asks us to read to her. But it seems she would rather read to herself, I guess our character voices aren't interesting enough. ;)

A couple of weeks ago Emma caught Hand Foot Mouth Disease from school. It was not a very fun experience. It is a viral infection that is not treatable, so we got to stay home for a week and somehow we made it through! The first few days were rough, but Kara introduced us to essential oils and we have been believers ever since! Lots of baths, swinging, walks around the block, and Bubble Guppies got us through. The day before she really came down with the virus, Labor Day, she fell while walking out the door and hit her chin on the brick. We sat at the ER for a couple of hours before deciding we would wait for our wonderful Doctor in training, Kenzie, to come by and take a look. Luckily she told us it wasn't deep enough to need stitches and told us how to take care of it. We are thankful for her!

Walks were the only thing that made her not cry for the first few days

So sick... Bubble Guppies makes things better

Right after her fall :(

Swinging for hours

One of the only smiles I saw all week!

Baths make everything better!
We have a lot of traveling coming up in November and December and will hopefully be seeing a lot of family in the next few months, so we will try to get pictures of her with her family! :)
