Perrin Family Happenings : November 2018

Our sweet Everly is 9 months! Weighs 19.6 lbs (which is only in the 71st percentile) and is 29 inches tall (93rd percentile). Still no teeth.

Everly has started standing on her own for a good 30 seconds before going back down. Shes getting braver and braver and will stand up on her own without using anything. I think her being more and more independent is making her a bit happier. She seems to be in a better mood nowadays and lets us walk away for a minute while she plays in the living room. She loves to watch everything Emma does and is always laughing with her.

We are still getting ear infections, but have an appointment with the ENT in November. So hopefully the ear tube surgery will be soon after that appointment. This, of course, means we are still not sleeping through the night.

We took a trip to Lamar, Colorado this past month for a family reunion. While waiting on the rest of the family to fly into Amarillo we stopped at the Amarillo zoo. Its a small zoo, but we were able to get really close to the animals. It was cold, but fun! Everly did pretty well in the car on that trip. Hoping the same is true for our Thanksgiving trip!

We made our annual trip to the corn maize with Nana and Papa. This was Everly's first time. She ended up falling asleep towards the end but did enjoy getting to pet a horse and feel pumpkins. Emma rode the horse twice, rode the cow train, and did the Fairytale trail for the first time. We also took the hayride out to the pumpkin patch and picked out a few pumpkins to decorate.

Emma Update

Gmaw & Gpaw flew in to go to a soccer game and got some really cute cookies made for her and her team. She is doing well in school and Im pretty sure write better than I do! She has been very interested in the sounds of letters and what letter each word starts with. She loved the zoo and got to go swimming at the hotel in Colorado.
