Everly Mae

Everly joined our family on January 29th, 2018 weighing 7lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. Everything went well and seeing Emma see her for the first time was amazing! She is so in love with her little sister. We had Emma come up to the hospital every day and while Gmaw and Gpaw held Everly she would lay with us and watch something on the iPad so that she wasn't feeling completely left out. At one point the nurse came in to give Everly her 24 hour check and Emma threw a FIT because they were taking her sister. It was so funny and adorable. It was always hard getting her to leave every evening, but I know Gmaw and Gpaw spoiled her!

We are back!

I know I haven't posted on here in a LONG time, but now that Everly is here I have been looking back at what Emma was doing at certain stages and has been a lot of fun to look back on. So, I think its only fair that Everly has something to look back on when she is older! So here we go for child number 2! 😃

Emma is now 3.5. She talks non-stop and is quite the sassy girl. She cracks us up daily with the things she says. She loves school and can write her name. Her teacher, Ms. D'Kay, thinks she will start reading before Kindergarten!

Emma was very excited to be getting a baby sister from day one. The whole pregnancy she acted like she too had a baby in her belly. 2 months into Everly's life and baby Emma is STILL in her tummy. She said the other day she still had 6 months to go! I will post a few pics from the past year and a half here and will then begin the journey of Everly's life! :)
