 We cant get enough of this girl! Her facial expressions are cracking us up, so of course we have to get pictures! I am posting a video as well! She isnt talking too much, but still cute none the less. She is kicking a ton. Daycare says they think she will be crawling early. We will see. They also go on and on about how happy she is! So I guess we got lucky with this happy little girl. This weekend, Labor Day weekend, is going to be our first road trip with Emma! Wish us luck!

Two Months!

Emma is two months... Already! Time is flying. She started daycare this past week and I went back to work. Her teachers love her and she seems to like it there. The other day I went to pick her up and all of the older babies started throwing fits and she was just looking around oblivious, not a care in the world. So I guess she is an easy going baby for her teachers!

We had her two month check up a couple of weeks ago so she could be released for daycare. She is growing like a weed! At the check up she was half an ounce away from 10lbs, and is 22 inches long! She is in the 88th percentile for height, which means she is probably going to be way taller than mom!

She has found her voice and has been talking to us a lot more lately. She loves making noises. I will try to get a video of it one of these days. Other than that, we are still working on getting stronger with tummy time! Here are a ton of pictures. I just couldn't stop picking out ones to post. She's just too darn cute!

Maternity Leave Coming To An End

Well, maternity leave is coming to an end. Emma and I have a week and a half left together before we have to send her to daycare and I go back to work. :( Not too much has changed. We are still working on tummy time, waiting for Emma to completely support herself on the ground. She is starting to look at us more and be able to lock eyes on us and move when we move. She will make faces with us and we are still waiting on that definite smile from her! A smile that is a smile because of something we did, not because she is pooping! haha! This past weekend I took all of the newborn clothes out of the drawers. We are now wearing 0-3 month clothes, so I guess that's a sign she's growing! :) We just can't get enough of this girl, so I am going to just post a ton of pictures that Dayton and I have taken on our phones.

Before we know it, Emma will be 2 months! Time is flying. If she could learn to change her own diapers and sleep all night I would never want her to grow up! ;)
