Christmas 2015

Alright, bare with me because this post is going to have A LOT of pictures. So just keep scrolling! :)

At the beginning of Christmas Shane graduated from Texas Tech so we had a celebration at our house. We had a lot of friends and family there, including Gus. Gus is 6 months older than Emma and it was so good to see them playing. Well...trying. They are both still learning how to share, which made it even more fun to watch! I hope we can see them a lot more so they can grow up together like we did with the Schneider/Wells family.

We had Christmas with Dayton's side of the family before heading down to McKinney for Christmas with Kayla's family. Emma came down with a cold and was running fever pretty much the whole week, but it finally broke Christmas morning. Luckily Aunt Sarah was here to snuggle her, she even fell asleep on her which never happens anymore.

Christmas Time!!
Santa delivered Emma a slide for the backyard and a doll house. Her Aunt Ashley and Uncle Shane played with her a lot on the slide, read books, played with the doll house and with her new babies. She got to spend a lot of (but not enough) time with her cousin Lilybet. They play so well and Lily is so patient with her. I love it and wish we lived closer so she would have a mini babysitter! :) While we were away we got 11 inches of snow in Lubbock, which means a week later there was still a ton of snow to play in!

Thanksgiving Time

We had a great Thanksgiving filled with lots of family and food! We had visits from Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kyle, and Aunt Amanda. Then we ventured over to Eastland to visit my side of the family at the ranch. Emma got to meet more Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. I was terrible at getting pictures, so I am sorry for the lack of cute Emma family pics! :/ We even made a trip to Ada, Oklahoma for Amy's baby-shower and didn't get any pictures!

We spent a Saturday at Kara's house and Emma had fun playing with Amelia when she wasn't busy being jealous! We recently had a few incidents with biting at daycare so Kara and Amy both got her biting books. I got a pretty cute picture of her when I handed her one of them. She's looking at me like, "Why do I need this, mom?!" The one Amy got us she likes to grab and say "bite" and "no no" while shaking her finger. It cracks me up!

Aunt Sarah and Aunt Amanda tried so hard to do Emma's hair. They decided to show Emma how fun it is, so while Amanda did Sarah's hair, Sarah did Emma's. This was the end result. 

Zach brought Maci over and she was the sweetest dog. Emma has a cracker in her hand and she didn't try to eat it the whole time as she teased her with it. Wish our Pugs were that nice!

Savannah was so good to Emma. They are about a year and a half a part and she was so patient with Emma, it was so sweet to see the cousins playing together. Wish I would have gotten more pictures of it!

Emma has become a cleaning queen! She will grab a Kleenex and go and wipe by the pugs water bowl and then take it to the trashcan. There are a few videos below of her "cleaning" and even licking the couch so that she has something else to clean!
