Six Months!

How in the world has 6 months already surpassed?! Time flies when you are getting no sleep and have two crazy kids! ;) Everly weighed 16.5 lbs which shot her into the 57th percentile for weight from the 26th 2 months prior! She is 26 inches tall which put her into the 64th percentile.

A lot happened in month 5. Everly went on her first plane ride to South Padre. Both girls got to experience the beach for the first time. Emma LOVED it. Everly slept a lot on the beach and even enjoyed playing in the sand and eating it! Everly did pretty good on the flight as long as she had a bottle in her mouth or was sleeping! (that might explain the weight jump! ha!) We all had a great time with family and cant wait to go back one day.

We are rocking back and forth on all fours and I think she will be crawling very soon! We also have a tooth coming through on the top. On top of all these changes the poor thing also had an ear infection when we went to her 6 month appointment. So yay for the beginning of those! We have also been experimenting with baby food. Emma loves to help feed her, and Everly adores Emma, so it all works out. Everly has been quite the grabber, so shes likes to grab the spoon and try to feed herself and then either gag herself or throw it down for the dogs to lick. She is also sitting up on her own and has found her toes. She LOVES her toes and to blow spit bubbles at us!

We celebrated the fourth of July this month and had visits from baby Kate and cousins from Daytons side of the family. Bare with me, there are a lot of pictures in this one! These kids are just too darn cute so its hard to pick only a few. :)

Five Months!

Miss Everly is 5 months! She is loving chewing on her fingers, sleeping on her tummy, and watching her sister. She hates her paci unless we are holding her and shes in the mood for it. Calming her down with one to get her to sleep at night in her bed? Forget it! She would rather us hold her until she falls asleep and then sleeps until shes hungry. Which I guess is good in the aspect that Dayton is not constantly having to put a paci back in when she wakes herself up, but unfortunately that means when shes up shes up! She slept until 5:30 the day she turned 5 months!! Has it happened again? You bet it hasn't! We are onto you little girl, we know its possible now! ;) Sitting up has become better and she has begun pulling her knees up under her while doing tummy time. Oh boy! We will see if she actually tries crawling unlike her sister did.
